Warm-up, Workout, and Cool Down
Each Aqua Gym session begins with a warm-up for about 3-5 minutes with stretching to loosen the muscles, limber joints, and increase blood flow. Start with slow flowing movements and gradually increasing speed and intensity. Gradually, we move into more intense, continuous aerobic activity for about 20-40 minutes, working with your personal fitness level, we alternate between long body movement at moderate speeds and then faster sprints with smaller movements. To increase the intensity, we use the aqua equipment around the wrists and ankles to perform specific upper and lower body conditioning exercises. Finally, we take about 2-4 minutes to reduce your movement and stretch all muscle groups.
It is totally safe without any limit of age, supportive for those who have back problems, weak joint problems (because there is no impact with the ground), for those who had serious injuries, arthritis, and anxiety problems.
